Once upon a time there was a red Lobster of the Lobster army. Now this Lobster was just like all the other Lobsters but was even more annoying and cocky then most. So one day after training he said "Hey, I want to go into Freeton and kill there leader!" *coughstupidcough* and so he set out to the land of Freeton with many Lobster weapons. He was soon captured by a group of scout Mushrooms only minutes after sneaking across the border of the two lands. He was kept in a call for days and was soon dragged out. He was in one of the main cities in Freeton where to Wise Mushrooms Council was. He was dragged into a large beautiful room with walls painted gold and a red carpet with many designs. At the other end of the room was a wooden table raised about four feet off the ground and there sat the Wise Council judges. In the middle was an old withered Mushrooms who seemed to be there since the beginning of the Council. The Lobster was brought to the middle of the room where there was a plain wooded desk with a chair. The guards made him sit down and moved to the side of him making it useless to try to escape. The Mushroom people believed in a fair trial that was held as soon as possible after the criminal act and listened to all sides of the story. The Lobster backed talked the whole time not listening to the Council at all and soon the Council got bored with him. A second before the Council made their decision a trumpet was blown and a voice said "Here comes the Ruler of Mushrooms also known as the Knight of Tomatoes!" A girl walked in dressed in beautiful white armor with a cape that was white on the outside but red on the inside. She had blue hair that fell half way down her back and blue eyes. On her waist was a black sheath held by a silver belt that held one of the most powerful swords in the lands. The hilt handle was white with black designs in-carved on it and above that was black metal shaped like wings. Ten inches up the blade itself were two knife like shapes right on the sides of the blade. She walked gracefully across the floor to where the the councilors were. The old withered Mushroom leaned down and she whispered something to him. He nodded and cleared his throat "By order of the Ruler of Mushrooms the Lobster found in Freeton without permission of our land shall be returned to where he came from! To make sure of this we shall have two escorts lead him to the border with a weeks work of food to unsure he gets home safely" The Lobster looked up in surprise since he was sure he would be sentenced to death. The Lobster sat silent for the rest of the trial and was soon allowed to get up. The Ruler of Mushrooms walked by him and gave him a small smile before leaving the room. Two guards came with him the next day and he was soon back at his home. When he returned he told everyone of the merciful leader of the Mushrooms and spread stories of how she let him go. Weeks later Lobsters began traveling to Freeton for a kind, wise, and brilliant master.

xDDD My friend sent this to me. Tis very funny.
Read slowly and carefully...
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as 'Euro-English'.
In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.
The hard 'c' will be dropped in favour of 'k'. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' will be replaced with 'f'. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent 'e' in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing 'th' with 'z' and 'w' with 'v'.
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary 'o' kan be dropd from vords kontaining 'ou' and after ziz fifz yer , ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.
If zis mad you smil, pas on to oza pepl.

My heart was racing but I forced myself to steady my breath. I kept low crawling through the dirt of the forest like floor and poked my head out above the small pipe that was acting as my shield. I managed to duck back down barely escaping the sight of an enemy moving forward in the battle. I moved forward ever so slightly my pants and jacket collecting dirt as I went along. I soon came to the end of the barrier and raised my paint-ball gun just enough to get an accurate shot. I aimed carefully and fired a shot hitting the man right on the mask. I moved back behind the barrier to keep my location hidden from the other players on the opposite team. I looked up and saw a wall of wood a few feet away that would help me in my goal of getting behind the enemies. I waved to a friend near by and raised to fingers indicating to fire at the enemies until I reached my new cover. He began firing a few shots forcing the people at the other side of the field to duck and hide. I quickly got up and dived towards the wood. I looked out and noticed another player nearby oblivious to me. I raised my gun once more and fired two shots at him. One caught his shoulder splattering him in yellow paint. He raised his gun in the air showing he was out and ran to safety neat the referee. My arm was starting to get tired from the heavy gun but I ignored it facusing only on the match. There were two other players left on the other team and they finally noticed me. I laid behind the wood wall listening to the paint-balls flying above me making it impossible to get out. I turned my head to the left and saw a small hole in the bottom of the wood. I crept over to it and put my barrel through it. I could see the two players clearly now but I wouldn't be able to get a clear shot. I fired at them and got up from my protection running towards their cover. I jumped to the side of it and fired at them hitting one of them in the chest. I ran behind a tree and fired out at the last player as he fired at me. I soon felt a sharp pain in my arm and quickly looked down at it. A paint-ball hit me and sadly it splattered meaning I was out of the match. I raised my gun and slowly walked out. The player who got me looked at me distracted not sure if I was out and soon got hit by one of my team mates. A whistle was blown and I lifted my black mask. I wiped my head with a sleeve wetting it with sweat and started walking out the field. My two friends caught up with me and we walked out together. They both had survived the battle and we soon started to count how many people we got from the other team. We then filled up our paint-ball guns and sat on a fallen tree. Another whistle was blown and we walked to the next area for another battle in the Desert Dunes. We got in ours positions behind the giant hills of dirt and waited for the match to begin.

Scorn and his army- The birds that work for him are all black and red eyes. They are known as Scavengers and they at as his spies. The wolves that work with him are normal wolves that choose to join him on there own free will. There are also Shadowspawns and they are creations made by Scorn himself. They are all black and have the shape of any ordinary wolf but they don't have any faces. (I know we have to change the name a little but until we do I guess we should just call them that)
(( I think that's it right? ))

Faye looked out at the town that she lived in and rubbed her cold hands together to warm them up. She could see her breath and the ground had ice patches everywhere. She picked her plain black backpack from the ground and took the handles of her bike. She pushed her bike along the frozen sidewalk and made her way to school. Cars whizzed past her as adults made their way to work or to drop their kids off at school. She walked by the local church and looked as a young boy scrubbed at graffiti on the side of the building. She looked away as the young boy turned to look at who was behind him.
The town she lived in wasn’t poor but it wasn’t rich either at least on the East side it wasn’t. The town was like many others in the world where there was a rich side in her case the West side and the poor side which was the East side where her house was located. She slowly crossed the town fountain, which was the border to the two sides and entered the West Side.
The houses here where two stories and all had a large front and back yard. She checked her watch 5:30 it read and she gave a sigh of relief. She feared that her classmates would see her come across the border in the town if she weren’t early enough. She didn’t want them knowing where she lived nor knowing about her personal life. She looked up at the upcoming school, which was the pride of the town and chained her bike to the bike rack.
Mrs. Jones looked up from her desk as the door to her classroom opened and in came a student. It took a moment to recognize the girl in thick black jacket and black pants but her face soon brightened up. “Faye! How are you? Was your weekend good.” She said immediately and she put her grading pen down on her brown. Faye gave a smile “It was pleasant and I’m fine thank you.” Faye said putting her back pack down on her desk near the front of the class “How was yours? Did the teacher meeting go well?” she asked politely as she began to sort through papers. She was the Sophomore Student Representative and she had to do all sorts of paperwork. “It went excellent but that was all because of all the research you did for me.” She said giving a warm smile. Faye nodded and started to post things on a bulletin board at the back of the classroom.
Mrs. Jones frowned as that small invisible barrier formed between the two. Every time she would try to get close to Faye this little barrier formed that wouldn’t let anything get in. For some reason Faye never let anyone close by even though it seemed everyone knew her really well but in truth no one knew her at all. She never gave out any information about her self and when someone asked she would smoothly change the subject away from her. Only the teachers knew about her family life and where she lived. In fact, the teacher meeting was mainly about how everyone was concerned about Faye and how she was cutting herself off.
Another student walked into the room, quietly shutting the door, and raising a finger to her lips when Mrs. Jones looked at her. She made her way across the room and silently snuck up behind Faye not making a sound. Right when she was about to pounce Faye turned around and put her hand up to stop her. “Why do you always try to sneak up on me?” she asked her friend Amy in a voice that was neither annoyed nor kind. “It’s the fact that I can’t sneak up on you and scare you that I do it.” Amy said nudging her friend with her elbow. The two girls who had met as a freshmen laughed together at this. Faye gave a fake laugh and then put the last paper on the bulletin board.
More students started coming in and Faye gave them a cheery smile. She then excused herself and walked out of the classroom the sounds diminishing once the door closed. She leaned against the wall near the door and let out a breath of relief. She hated being so close to others and she was starting to feel sick. She put her hand over her stomach feeling like she was going to throw up and knelt over as pain washed over her.
“You OK Faye?” she heard a worried voice ask her. She looked up and there was the vice president Jake Hard looking at her with a worried expression. She nodded and stood straight ignoring the sharp pain in her chest. “I’m fine. I just got really dizzy for a few seconds.” She said with a smile to show she was fine “We should get back in or else we might be late.” She added quickly to change the subject. He nodded a worried expression still on his face and together they walked in.
Faye walked out of her classroom and gave a sigh of relief. She had made it through the day without any problems or any pain. She had just finished doing some more paper work and she soon made her way to her bike. She started down the street and made her way to her house. Her house was one story and only had 3 main bedrooms. A kitchen that was half of a small den, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Their lawn was small and their backyard was almost the same size. She opened the gate fence and walked to her door. She unlocked the door and stepped inside. Her mom was lying on the couch that they had with an empty bottle of beer in her hand. She turned her head to see who had entered and gave a drunken smile as she saw Faye. “Hi honnneey.” She said her words slurring as she tried to get up from the couch. She fell back down and put her head back down on the pillow. “I’m going to sleep, OK? Can you please do the dishes?” Faye’s mom asked her eyes closed now. “Sure, mom.” Faye said making her way to the kitchen.
Her mom had started drinking after the divorce and she had soon made it a habit in her life. She was still writing but she had convinced her publisher that she was having a writer’s block. Now all she did was drink and lay around. It was rare when she went out and whenever Faye saw her, she was drunk or sick. They had enough money for a while from the checks her dad sent every now in then to help them out. Her dad owned a small company and was dating another woman. Faye rarely saw him and when they did it was always awkward or stiff.
Faye entered her small room and made her way to her bed. She did her homework for school and laid down on the bed. She soon fell asleep and slipped into a dark dream. It was pitch black around her and she couldn’t see anything. She turned around and there was a boy about the same age as herself looking at her. He was wearing clothing that looked like he belonged at Ex Caliber or something. He had a purple to tunic with black pants and black shoes. His face was pale and his hair was white but had some purple in it. He had a purple ripped cape held by a red gem and his eyes were a dark purple.
He held his hand out as if he wanted her to take it but for some reason she couldn’t move. A name appeared in her head ‘Abhor Converta’ and she realized it was his. His lips moved but no sound came out and she struggled to decipher what he was trying to say. A light appeared around him and he looked angry. He started to try and shout to her but she still couldn’t hear him. The light got brighter and she was forced to close her eyes. She opened her eyes a few minutes later and realized, she was back in her bedroom. She was extremely cold and shivered as she put her jacket on. She looked at the clack and realized it was the next day. She got out of bed and started to get ready to go to school.
She walked down the hallway for her zero period her mind still on the dream and she heard her name being shouted from behind her. She turned around and saw her friend Amy. The girl ran up to her slightly breathless and took a few seconds to catch her breath. “Faye. You know the homework for Math that’s do today?” Amy said her still red from running. Faye nodded her head and turned her mind away from her dream and back to reality. “Well I couldn’t do it last night because I was really busy. Can I please copy your paper?” Amy asked her face filled with desperation and Faye looked at her shocked. Amy had never asked this of her and she was surprised that she would. “I’m sorry but no…We could get into a lot of trouble for doing that…” Faye said to Amy still shocked. Amy gave her a pouting look “Please I really need these points for my grade.” She said begging to Faye. Faye shook her head “No. I’m sorry.” She said slightly annoyed at her friend. Amy also looked annoyed “Come on you’ve known for who knows how long. It’s just this once!” she said her voice getting louder. Faye gave her a cold stare “I said no. Go ask someone else.” Her voice also getting louder in the empty hall. A few students looked through the window in the door curious of what all the fuss was about and called others as they saw the two girls fighting. “Faye! Come on you know my grade is low in Math! You have it real easy and all.” Amy said her voice loud and Faye clenched her fist in anger but Amy didn’t stop “It probably takes you less then an hour to finish it but for me it takes over two! You have all this free time to do whatever you want and your parents don’t yell at you for bad grades like mine do! You’re lucky that you don’t have to give an excuse to your parents every time you fail a test and you’re probably the perfect daughter.” She added harshly. Faye dug her nails into her palm and it started to bleed. She just couldn’t take it anymore “Shut the Hell up, Amy! You have no idea how hard my life is at home!” she shouted at her friend in anger.
She put her hand over her mouth in shock that she actually said that. Amy went very quiet surprised that Faye had actually used an inappropriate word and told her to shut up. Amy’s face turned into a hard glare “Fine then.” She said and walked into the classroom. Everyone was quiet in the classroom all surprised at what had just happened and watched as Amy took her seat silently. Faye stood there for a few seconds and slowly turned around. She walked down the hall and went into the restroom. She splashed water on her face and a blanket of numbness washed over her.
The classroom was quiet when she entered and she took her seat. The day went by slowly and rumors had started to spread about the fight. She ignored them and didn’t talk to anyone. Amy was ignoring her completely and the teachers were disturbed by the quietness of their class. “Have you heard what all the students have been talking about yet?” Mrs. Jones asked the other teachers in the teachers lounge. They nodded their heads “The class I had today with Faye was….quiet.” Mr. Sims a science teacher said to the others. They all nodded “It is quiet a shock. I can’t say I’m surprise though because it was bound to happen soon. She must be under a lot of pressure with her parents and the fact that she is poor yet is going to a rich school must add on to that.” The principal said as he walked in the room and they all nodded to that.
Faye walked the whole way home the pain in her chest to unbearable to even ride. Her mom was not at the house when she walked in and she assumed she was getting food at the local market. She went into her room and sat down on the bed. She blinked her eyes and she was in her dream again. The pain increased and knelt down on the ground her hand on her chest. She heard her name and she looked up to find the boy from her dream yesterday. He was a foot away from her and blushed turning her head away. He was cute beyond belief and she found her throat was dry. “Take my hand and the pain will go away. I can promise you that.” Abhor said his voice was hard and yet kind at the same time. She looked up and found his hand was out stretched once more. She looked at his hand and found that she didn’t want to take it. The pain increased greatly and she gave a small gasp at the pain. She reached out her hand shaking and took his hand.
There was a blinding light and she was back in her room. The pain was unbearable and felt like she was going to faint. It felt like something was getting torn out of her heart and suddenly it stopped. She fell to the floor and felt abnormally light like there was a weight taken out of her chest. A cool hand took her arm and lifted her up. She was shaking and she turned around to see Abhor. He gave a smile and she saw he had fangs. “Finally I am free from that Hell hold of a place. I’d kill you right now for putting me in there but it appears you don’t remember a thing .” he said his voice hard and cold. “What.. what are you talking about? I didn’t do anything…” she said confused to him. The was the noise of a door closing nearby and she realized that her mom was home. Abhor looked up and then back to her. “First lets get out of this world and into our home world.” He said and pulled her close to him. He wrapped his arms around her and before she could ask what he was doing, they were thrown into darkness. It was extremely cold and they were moving at a high speed. Abhor seemed fine and appeared to be looking for something. She looked around seeing only darkness but soon saw a small light. He said a few words and she closed her eyes as light erupted into her view.
They fell onto grass and she felt warm sun light hitting her. She opened her eyes and it took her a moment to adjust to the light. She was in a clearing in the middle of a forest and bugs flew around them. Abhor moved uncomfortably beneath her and she realized she was on top of him. She rolled off his blushing and he sat up. There was grass a foot high around them and she saw movement around them. A second later ten men were surrounding them swords and shields in their hands. Abhor grinned at her “Don’t worry. I’ll kill you later tonight.” He said and the wind picked up around them. There was a flash of light and he was gone leaving her alone with the men. A man cursed and walked forward to her. “Get up.” He said sternly and she got up only to fall back down again. Her legs were numb and she realized her whole body had frost over it. “Where am I?” she said through chattering teeth. The man looked at her puzzled and made a motion to one of his men. A blanket was soon wrapped around her and she slowly started to warm up. “We will go to the village first. Everything will be explained there.” He said simply and a man brought a horse to his side. He helped her stand up and she got onto the saddle in front of him.
He controlled the horse and they soon were in the shadows of the trees. It was quiet and the men rode by their side and looked at her nervously. Why are they afraid of me Faye thought to herself trying to ignore their stares. They rode on for about ten minutes and they soon came to what appeared to be a fort. There were two guards in front of a bridge that led into the fort each wearing a dark green uniform. Inside were many tents and men were sitting about on logs. They looked at them and started to talk to each other quietly. They went to a stable and the man who rode with her helped her down. He gave the reins of the horse to a boy who then led the horse inside the stable. He then led her to a large tent that had a green flag with a brown tree on it, near the entrance. They walked in and she saw a man in the green uniform but he had a red patch on his shoulder with a silver tree on it. There was also an old lady that was wearing a green dress and a brown hat. He looked up and motioned for them man to leave.
“Is that her?” he asked the old lady and the lady nodded her head. “Excuse me but where am I” Faye asked them and the man gave her a puzzled look. “You are in the land of Freeton. Do you not remember this place?” the old lady asked her voice soft and filled with amusement.

“Remember?...I’ve never been here in my life!” Faye said confused and was only answered with laughter from the old lady. “I see. My name is Moro and this is General Howard. You my dear are the Protector of the Golden Forest. You are also one of the immortals in this world along with a few others.” She said laughter still in her voice. “What?...No. That’s not possible I’ve never been here in my life. I don’t even no how this is possible or how I got here.” Faye said running out of breath. General Howard shook his head “The Demon brought you here. He must have escaped from the prison you put him in.” he said and took out a scroll. He handed it to her and she opened it. It had a picture of someone of it standing over a dead man. It took her a few moments to recognize him but when she did, she couldn’t breath. “Abhor…” she said barely above a whisper. Moro nodded her head “The Demon King. His name Abhor Converta and he is a man of pure darkness.” She said her voice full of hate and Faye gave her a startled look. “What do you mean I imprisoned him? I didn’t know about him until yesterday.” She said her head hurting from all of this. “Centuries ago you stopped him from taking over this land. You are one of the greatest mages in Freeton and until he attacked your forest, you had been neutral in the war. When he did, you went after him and fought a huge battle that shook the world. He was beating you and as a final attempt to stop him, you imprisoned him within your own heart. You went to another world and shielded your heart. Rumor had it that when you did you lost your memory. I see it’s true.” Moro said her face full of gloom at it.
Faye went to a chair nearby and sat down. She put her head in her hands and shook her head. It was too much to handle and her headache increased. It explained why she always separated herself from others and the fact that Abhor was almost out of his prison made her act like him slightly. There was a shout from outside and she looked up. Moro and General Howard went out of the tent. She followed them and gasped as a giant winged creature hovered a few yards away from them. It had claws and fangs of unbelievable size. Men around it were trying to cut it down but it only ripped them in half. It’s eyes looked around and found her. They were yellow with a black pupil and for a second she swore she saw Abhor in a small room with stone floor. The monster gave a shrieking cry and flew towards her. It knocked General Howard over with it’s claw and she fell to the floor as it passed over her. It was called a Kike she thought to herself not exactly sure how she knew.
It was coming back around and she suddenly knew how to take it down. She raised her hand palm up and faced the monster. “People of flames..Dance!” she shouted and blue lines appeared making a design around the Kike. A second later there was an explosion and the monster burst into flames. It cried out and fell to the ground trying to put the fire out. Howard got up and ran to the monster slicing its neck. Faye almost choked as the smell of burning flesh drifted through the air and she felt sick. Moro took her arm and led her back into the tent.
She brought Faye a cup of what appeared to be tea and Faye took it gratefully. “That monster was after you. You stopped it with an old spell that creates flames. Do you still doubt who you are?” Moro asked her taking a sip of her own cup. Faye shook her head and took a sip of the tea. Surprisingly it tasted sweet unlike the tea at her own world and it brought up an image of a few bright green plants. “This is made from plants?” she asked mainly to herself but Moro nodded at this.
General Howard walked in some blood on his tunic “I must thank you for stopping the Kike. It would have killed many of my men. You have also proved that you are indeed the Protector of the Golden Forest.” He said giving her a low bow. He then got a cup of tea that Moro had made for him and sat down. “Now we must figure out what to do with you.” He said looking at Faye and then at Moro. “She must regain her memory from the Old Man. He must surely have it since he is the keeper of memories. He lives in the North in the mountains of Korn. I fear it will be harsh and we will not be able to assist you.” Moro said and gave Howard a glare “Now General I expect you to give her a horse and supplies.” She added coldly. Howard waved his white napkin in surrender “Of course I will, Moro. I fear if I didn’t you would steal supplies and have her sneak off in the middle of the night with one of our horses.” He said with a small laugh. He motioned for a guard “Show Faye where she will be sleeping.” He said to the guard “I’m sorry but you will have to sleep with the woman in the fort. We don’t’ have a lot of room here with the war going on.” He added to Faye.
Faye’s ears perked up at the word war “You are fighting a war? With who?” she asked though not truly surprised. “We are fighting a war against the Demons. Even though you imprisoned their leader they still have generals and have elected a new leader though I believe Abhor will take his spot once more. You see there are twelve generals and one leader. They are the top thirteen that we need to take down in order to win this war. They however are extremely strong and their soldiers are also powerful.” He said motioning to the Kike outside the tent. Faye nodded “Can’t you just get a lot of mages to take them down?” she asked after a few seconds and Howard gave a nodd of approval. “Good question however there are few mages as strong as yourself. There are three types of mages in this world Travelers who can do simple spells like lighting a candle or making a small light, Warriors who can control the basic elements to some extent or make a small shield, and last Masters who can control the elements or change them altogether. Masters can make large shields and in some cases, they can even control people. From what I’ve heard you prefer plants and are good with healing.” Howard said to her and Moro nodded.
Faye followed the guard out of the tent and followed him through the many tents. The soldiers had made small fires where they huddled together telling stories or playing games. They soon stopped at a large tent and the guard opened the flap for her. She went in and he left her. Inside there were women talking together or sleeping in cots. They looked up at her and a girl with red hair got up. “So you’re the famous Faye. You looked pretty young to me. Well anyways I am Nay and I’m in charge of this tent.” She picked up a bundle of clothing and tossed it at Faye. “Put these on. They are mage clothing and just change in here we won’t look.” She sat back down and began talking about the Kike that appeared.
Faye changed into the clothes and realized that it was similar to Abhor’s. She had a white long sleeve tunic held down by a brown leather belt with a brown pouch on it. Her pants were dark blue and she had light brown plain boots that went up to her knees. She had a blue cape that went down a little past her knees and it was held by a red gem like Abhor’s. She shuddered at the thought of looking like Abhor and made her way to the women trying to avoid the sleeping ones.
She sat down next to Nay and listened to a brown haired girl speak. “Today on the patrol we lost 5 men. I think they ran into Abhor while he was escaping. Anyways things are starting to heat up in the borderland to the North. They say that level 2 Demons are showing up and attacking everyday now.” She said and there was a matter of cursing from the other women. “What are level two Demons?” Faye asked them and they went silent. “Level two Demons are the type that can fly. Level one are the type that can walk and level three are the ones who can swim. You see there are too many demons to give them all names so we just put them into categories. Like the Kike today would be a level two Demon.” The brown haired woman replied to her and the others nodded.
Faye woke up early and got out of her cot near Nay’s. There were a few in there but the majority of the women were out. She pulled her boots on and got ready. She went out of the tent and a warm breeze greeted her. She soon saw Moro by the stables and went over to her. Moro saw her and gave her a small smile. Next to her was a white horse that was saddled up and had many supplies on it. “This is your new horse. His name is Storm and he is fast. You will like him I think.” She said as Faye started to pet his silver mane. General Howard came to them with a small bag in his hand “Tie this to your belt. It’s money for your trip.” He said handing her the pouch. She took it and tied it to her belt. She got on the horse with ease as her body remembered how and she shifted into a comfortable spot. “Good luck and fare well.” He said with a bow and left her to speak to Moro. Moro looked at her and nodded with approval. “Now you look like a real mage. Now here is a gift to help you on your way.” She pulled out a gold circlet with a design of leaves on it and a red ruby in the center. She handed it to Faye “Take this. It will help you when you are in danger and it will guide you safely through the mountains.” She said forcing it into Faye’s hand. Faye looked at it and gave a real smile at Moro. “Thank you. This means a lot to me.” She said and put it on. She pulled her hair from under it so only the front was visible and waved good-bye as she made her way through gate.
Faye left the fort behind her and made her way through the forest. Storm was indeed a good horse and woke her early in the morning. After a few days in the forest she finally neared, it’s edge. There were fewer trees and fewer bushes. She was following a stream that would lead her to the mountains of Korn and the map given to her helped her find clearings to sleep at during night. She had also begun to remember spells like for creating a fire or a shield. Along with spells she began getting memories of her past but nothing more then brief flashes. It seemed she would only be able to remember simple spells until she reached the Old Man.
Faye created a small orb light in the darkness and looked at her map. She had found the road by the stream that would lead to the mountains and run through a few towns. It was dark out and she could see a town up ahead. So far she had been lucky and had only ran into a few wild animals. She neared the town and soon was in a crowd of people in the street. She found a local inn and got off her horse. People gave her a suspicious look but she ignored it. She put her horse in the inn’s stable and walked in. It was crowded and all the tables were full.
She went to the front desk and came across a man who appeared to be the owner. “How much is a single room here?” she asked him and he gave her a glare “A lot more money then a Traveler mage could afford.” He said rudely and Faye gave him a cold stare. “Tell me how much or I guess you don’t want a silver coin.” She said taking a coin out of her pouch. She had learned that the money here was based on its type of material. From lowest to highest it would be copper, bronze, silver, and last gold. “That’s enough, mam. Will it be a double bedroom?” he asked her with a small bow. It appeared he thought she was married and she shook her head. “No. It will only be a single.” She said and he lifted his brow. “If you don’t mind me saying miss but traveling alone is dangerous even if you are a mage.” He said slightly surprised at her. “I’ll be fine.” She said and he motioned for her to follow him.
He opened a door and gave her a key to the room. It was a plain room but it was large in size and had a lot of furniture. She knew it was stupid to wave a silver coin around but if she hadn’t he would give her a horrible room and this way he would take care of her horse along with belongings. She went back down and found a table in the corner. There were musicians and she ordered a drink along with some food. She watched as people danced to the music but her view was blocked as a man came into her view.

“Hey. My name is Ryan Corder. Is this seat taken?” he asked motioning to the seat across of her and she looked up at him. He had black hair and had black pants. His tunic was long sleeve and made of silk showing he was rich. He didn’t have a cape but on his fingers were many rings. “Yes it is.” She said her voice hard. She didn’t want to deal with a man who wanted to sleep with her. He laughed and sat in the chair anyway. He then ordered a drink and she glared at him. He watched the dancers “It’s funny. You look just like this mage who lived long ago who stopped the Demon King but then she lost her memory in another world.” He said his eyes turning back to her “They also are saying that Abhor is back so that would mean that she was also. “ he added his eyes searching her own.
There was a loud bang like an explosion and they heard people shouting. Faye got up and ran to the door with Ryan. Outside there were a few houses on fire and a level one Demon was out. It looked like a rhino but it was all black and had spikes along it’s back. Next to, it was another Demon wearing all black armor and on its helmet coming from underneath were two black horns. Red eyes shown through the helmet and he searched the crowd of people. Faye ran out into the street and faced him knowing he wanted her. Vladimir that was his name and he was one of the top thirteen Demons in the army.
“Come with me. My King wants you.” He said his voice like stone as he held his hand out for her. She shuddered and shook her head. “Fine. I shall do it by force then.” And with that, the rhino like Demon ran straight at her. She dodged to the right as he ran past running into a building and crashed into it. If she didn’t take care of it soon it would destroy the town and its’ people. She raised her palm once more “People of the flame…Dance!” she shouted and lines engulfed the creature. Flames erupted on it but it didn’t slow down or cry in pain. The armor she thought and once more dodged. A hand pulled her up and she realized it was Ryan. “I’ll take care of this one. You take the other one.” He said as he pushed her in Vladimir’s direction.
She soon found herself face to face with the Demon. He put his hand out and darkness formed around his hand. A black ax appeared that was twice his size and he rested it on his shoulder waiting for her to move. A spell came to her mind but she couldn’t remember what it did and she didn’t want to use it if it caused more problems. He moved and suddenly he was behind her. She moved to the side and felt pain in her right arm. I giant cut formed going up her arm and she bit her lip to stop from crying out in pain. She turned around to face him and suddenly her arm with the cut went completely numb. She tried to move it but it was limp on her side. A poison she thought and realized this was how he was going to get her. He would cut her lightly on her arms and legs until she couldn’t move.
He moved once more and this time he got her leg. She fell half way to the ground and he started to walk towards her. She had no choice but to use the new spell. She took a deep breath “Oh creature of darkness…Die for you are the cause of destruction!” she shouted at him as he was a foot away form her. Lines appeared around him and suddenly a giant explosion occurred within him. She was blown away by it and crashed into a building slumping to the ground barely conscious. She gave a weak laugh “So that’s what it does.” She said to herself as her vision darkened. She looked up and saw that the only thing left of Vladimir was a crater in the ground.
She soon saw a swarm of people with Ryan running towards them. They looked around and saw the crater. Ryan saw her by the wall and ran to her. He had a worried expression on his voice and tried to say something to her but she couldn’t hear him. She fell to the ground letting unconsciousness fall over her. Ryan lifted her up and ran to the inn. “We need to get her inside to take the poison out of her and to stop the bleeding.” Ryan said to the innkeeper. The owner nodded and cleared everyone out of the inn except for a healer and Ryan. Ryan put her down on the wood floor and let the healer do his work. He cleaned her cuts and killed the poison that was numbing her. “Do you know who she is? I saw what she did to the Demon and that takes the skill of a master.” The healer asked Ryan. Ryan nodded his head “Her name is Faye.” He said as the healer wrapped her cuts. The healer stopped wrapping and stared at Ryan. “Then the rumors are true.” The healer said after a while and Ryan nodded.
Faye opened her eyes and found herself in her room at the inn her whole body numb. She tried to get off but a hand pushed her down. Ryan looked down at her and another face peered down at her. The innkeeper she thought hazily and feeling came back to her. She gasped in pain and realized that she had a fever. A cool cloth went on her head and the world started to spin. She closed her eyes and felt the magic in her start to work. She let her body remember what to do when it’s hurt and soon the pain subsided to a small throb.
She looked up and saw a healer above her. He had a shock expression on his face and said something to the others. It took awhile for her to decipher it “She has healed herself without my help.” He had said to the others. Her head started to clear and she went up on her elbows. “What….” She tried to finish the sentence but her voice was too dry. Someone handed her a glass and she took it draining it in a few seconds.
“What happened?” she asked them after a while “I…” the earlier battle flashed through her mind and she realized she fell unconscious. “How long was I out?” she added on. “A few hours.” Ryan replied and then added “There was a poison in you that was freezing your body and basically drugging your mind, Faye. You used a strong spell but you were to close to Vladimir and got caught in the blast.” She looked at him suspiciously “Why are you here and how do you know my name?” she said sternly to him and she tried to get up but found she had no strength.
“I’m here because the mage guild sent me. I know your name because I know the old tales and I have seen a scroll picture of you.” Ryan said ignoring her glare and took the empty glass away. “What does this guild want with me and why?” she asked coldly annoyed for the way he was treating her. She finally got a good look at him and found he had a few scrapes along with a lot of dirt on his face. She tried not to laugh and instead coughed. “What? Well anyways I don’t know what the guild wants with you or why. All I know is that they want me to bring you to them to talk and that’s it.” Ryan said handing her a refilled cup.
Faye tried to get up once more but had to accept help from Ryan. She felt wobbly but soon balanced herself on him. “Well first I must go to the Old Man for my own reasons. I’m leaving tomorrow at first light.” She said to him as she sat down in a chair nearby. “I’ll come then.” Ryan said stubbornly and with that he left the room so she could change. She slowly got cleaned and put on new clothes of the same color. She cleaned the circlet and put it back on.
Faye made it through the hall and down to the tables for food. There were many people inside and they got quiet when they saw her. She went to her corner table and a woman came up to her flowers in her hand. “Thank you for protecting our town and ridding us of that Demon. Whatever you need for your trip just come by the stores and we’ll give you it.” She said and gave Faye the flowers. She scurried back off and the music started once more. It appeared that the town had sent the woman to show their thanks even though Faye felt she didn’t deserve it.
Faye saddled up on her horse and waited for Ryan to saddle his black horse called Fang. She had tried to argue for him not to come but he was too stubborn. Ryan got on and they went into the crowd on the street. The people made way for them and they were soon on the edge of the town. Many travelers had come up to them to show the thanks and Faye felt very awkward. Ryan however just laughed at this and handled each situation very well.
They made their way up the mountain and stopped at almost every town to rest. The weather was harsh and extremely cold. It snowed almost every night and at the last town, they were forced to leave the horses behind because it was too hard for them. The mountains of Korn consisted of six large mountains in a circle around a small valley and it just so happened the Old Man lived in the center of the valley. The weather finally started to calm down as they finally got over one of the mountains. Unlike the trip up the trip, down was pleasant and it was starting to heat up as they got in the valley.
Faye made her way between a few logs and swat a bug away from her face. Ryan followed, after her and almost tripped on a stump. He cursed as they made their way to the center of the valley. The terrain consisted mainly of forest and swamp. Faye looked up through the trees and saw the sun setting. “We should find a spot to sleep at.” She said to Ryan who nodded in agreement. They settled in a spot that didn’t have too much mud and plants. They were both covered in mud and looked like they belonged in some Indiana Jones movie.
Faye whistled a small tune and the wind picked up clearing all the bugs away from the area. “That’s a useful spell.” Ryan said sweat dripping down his forehead and he wiped it away with his sleeve. Faye nodded and laid against a tree nearby. It was extremely dark out with the trees and there were noises coming from every direction. They took turns as watch guard at night and took three-hour shifts. They continued this routine for the next few days and they finally came to a clearing.
Faye blocked the light with her hand as they entered it. There was a hut at the very center and they walked towards it. A shadow fell across them and they looked up. Circling above was a level two Demon watching them. Faye got ready to send a spell at it if it attacked but a hand fell on her arm. “It cannot attack here in this valley. Do not fear.” An old man said to he his eyes a silver color. “Follow me into my hut and tell me what you wish with me.” He said and walked into the hut. Ryan looked at Faye and she nodded her head then walked into the hut. Ryan looked back nervously at the Demon in the air but soon sighed walking into the hut.

Inside the hut, was a small table with two chairs and a small bed. It had three windows and a fireplace at the end of the room. Ryan looked at a bookshelf that had hundreds of untitled book and he couldn’t help taking one out. He was about to open it when a hand came on his shoulder. It was the Old Man and he shook his head. Ryan put the book out of the shelf and let Faye take the second chair as the Old Man took the first.
“What do you wish with me?” The Old Man said his voice tired and his face bored. Faye looked at Ryan and Ryan nodded leaving the room. “I have lost my memories and I have come hear to ask you if you can give me them back.” She said her voice steady and her expression calm. The Old Man nodded his head and got up from the chair. He went to the bookshelf and pulled out a dark green book that was extremely thick. He then came back and sat down opening the book. “Your name is Faye correct?” he asked her looking up from the book and she nodded.
He got up once more and walked over to her. “Stand,” He ordered and she obeyed “My dear usually I would ask for something in return but you are different from others. I would gladly return your memories and I must admit I have been waiting over the years for you to come to me. Close your eyes and I will give you what you seek.” He said smiling for the first time that they had met. Faye closed her eyes and she felt his hand go on her forehead.
The Old Man touched the giant green book with his other hand and closed his eyes. He saw her memories in the book and acted as a bridge for them to cross to her. Ryan saw a flash in the hut and ran in worried. He saw the Old Man who appeared to be exhausted and Faye whose face was a mixed of emotions. Every second the expression changed until she jerked her eyes open breathing hard. She looked around lost for a few seconds and then she finally turned to the Old Man.
“I…” she started to say but the Old Man raised his hand stopping her and she shut her mouth. “There is no need to thank me. However, I must speak with the both of you. You see you are not free from Abhor.” He said as he took a seat once more and Faye followed suite her face in a composed expression. Ryan went to one of the walls and leaned against it waiting to see what the Old Man meant. “When Abhor left his prison in your heart he left a type of poison. A darkness that will spread and start to consume you. Your heart is becoming dark and I fear if left alone it will enslave you letting Abhor have complete control over your powers or in a few weeks it will kill you. The only way to get rid of this curse is to hope to find someone of enough strength to rid it from your body or kill the person who made it which is Abhor.” The Old Man said looking at Faye “If you do not believe me then look at your right wrist. There will be a mark that will spread across your body until you are dead or enslaved.” He added cheerlessly.
Faye slowly pulled up her white sleeve and sure enough, there was a purple mark around her wrist. She took a deep breath calming herself and looked at the Old Man. “I thank you for this.” She said her voice strong without a trace of fear. The Old Man nodded “If you do this journey you must face the fact that you might not make it in time and if that happens you must not let Abhor use you for the world will turn dark if he does.” He then turned to Ryan who was silent in the corner “Help her for she will need it. If this does happen you must kill her immediately.” And Ryan swallowed but nodded his head. “Now go child and good luck.” The Old Man said and led them out. Faye and Ryan walked out of the hut and the Old Man waved good-bye before disappearing into the hut.
“We should start going to the mountains now since we are low on time. I still have to bring you to the guild but that will be a benefit to you. The guild is part of the military and they will know where Abhor may be.” Ryan said walking across the clearing with Faye. “I see but why walk?” Faye asked stopping a look of puzzlement on her face and Ryan tilted his head. Faye stared at him for a moment and then hit her head with her hand laughing. “I forgot that we came over walking.” She said laughing a little and she pulled him close to her “Close your eyes and don’t let go of me.” She said to him before he could complain and he forced to obey. “Thy wind let us travel upon you.” She whispered and lines appeared around them. The wind swirled around them and Ryan felt like he was lifted up into a twister of some type.
It suddenly stopped and Ryan felt solid ground touch his feet. He opened his eyes only to see snow and buildings around him. Faye let go of him and he stumbled dizzy from the trip. “Are we in the town?” he asked once the world stopped spinning and he could think clearly. Faye looked at him a worried expression on her face “I’m sorry I forgot that you’ve never traveled like that before. I admit I too am dizzy from the trip. I haven’t used it in so long and I’m still adjusting to everything. It’s a spell that allows a person to travel and yes we are in the town where our horses are.” Faye said a smile appearing on her face.
They made their way to the inn and the innkeeper gave them a strange look. “You are the fastest group to get over the mountain to visit the Old Man and back. No offense, but I think you all are crazy.” He said has he opened the stables for them. Ryan nodded his head thinking that maybe they were crazy. They met at the stables after putting on clean clothes and freshening up for the trip. They got Fang and Storm from the stable and Ryan mounted up. “The Mage Guild is east of here so it should take a few days to reach there. Unless you plan on using that spell to get us there.” He asked Faye who had got on Storm. She shook her head “I don’t think the wind will allow us this time. Even if it did it would get annoyed with us traveling on it for every little reason. I could use another spell but that would be very…discomforting for you. I highly don’t advise it.” She said and Ryan shuddered at the thought of what else magic could do.
They started down the mountain stopping at night to sleep and each time Faye created a shield for them to protect against Demons or wild animals. They had been lucky for a storm earlier helped clear the road of fallen debris along with some snow. Ryan mainly did the hunting while Faye concentrated on finding the most direct route to the Mage Guild and soon the days began to turn into a routine. Wake up early, saddle up and eat on the road, travel till dark then stop, eat dinner, and go to sleep. They talked about themselves or some experiences in their life to help past the time.
The terrain around them started to change from boring slopes with few trees and bushes to more of a farmland like area. The mountains of Korn were now in the distance behind them and the sun was out shining. There was always a cool breeze as they made their way through small villages, farmlands, and the opened road. They were able to by all types of fruits from farmers and they came across cows at some point in the trip. It had been three day since they left the mountains and up ahead they could see the town that held the Mage Guild.
Faye gasped as she looked up at the buildings of the town. They were huge and in was quite obvious that the city was rich. On the sides of the buildings were even spell markings to protect against Demons and she felt that they were done by, a Master mage. The shops were full of fresh food and the clothing was in the latest style. Surprisingly the prices weren’t that high but the streets were crowded with people. The shops held their own style of decorating and there were merchants and traders everywhere. They slowly made there way through the crowded streets until they reached a white gate with two guards. They saw Ryan and gave a salute after opening the gate. “Is this the Mage Guild? I thought it was open to the public.” Faye asked as they made there way down a trail with grass and trees around them. “It is. We are going through the side gate so we won’t be caught in a line of people trying to get in.” he said dismounting his horse and she followed suite.
At first glance, she mistook the Guild building for a castle and was surprise to see the size of it. It was slightly smaller then a real castle but it was the same shape. The stonewalls were so clean that they appeared to be white and the roof tiles were a dark blue. They went to a large stable and a stable boy took their horses away. Faye followed Ryan as they made their way inside the Guild building and inside it reminded her of a university with a red carpet. There were classrooms in which one had a Professor that was teaching a class of young mages and she couldn’t help but looking in to see what they were learning.
“When dealing with fire you must realize that it is a living thing and you cannot boss it around. It can and will turn on you making it the hardest element to control since it is so violent. Now I will demonstrate a spell that will show how strong it can be. However, it must be done in the Arena for it causes great damage.” The Professor said as he led his students out of the room. Faye moved and the Professor looked at Ryan and smiled. “Corder! I’m happy you are here. Would you please assist me with this demonstration? You were always the better one with fire spells…” the man saw Faye standing to the side and gave a small bow “I apologize I did not see you there. My name is Cornelius Mill and who might you be?” he asked her straightening up.
Ryan was the first to speak “This is Faye you have probably heard of her and yes I would be glad to help you.” Cornelius’s eyes widened at the sound of her name and he gave a bow that made him almost touching the ground. The students whispered in confusion of who she might be to deserve such a bow and he quickly straightened. “Now lets go to the Arena. I am almost done with my class and we will be able to talk later.” He said as they walked through the maze of halls. He led them through two double doors and Faye felt a strong shield around them as they entered.
Inside was a stadium that had a field of dirt that was the size of a football field. She had heard of the Arena, which was designed for testing or mage battles. They had duels every so often to gain rank or to end a conflict between two people. The students took seats behind the shield onto the wooden benches as Faye, Ryan, and Cornelius went onto the dirt field. There was a giant rock set in front of them and Cornelius turned to the two. “I am teaching them the dangers of fire and how destructive it can be. Ryan if you would do one of your strongest spells on fire or explosions.” He said politely as he created a shield around them just in case. Ryan nodded and crossed his arms with a concentrated look on his face.
Different mages preferred different stances and some didn’t bother with shouting the spell out. There were advantages of surprise but if you were to strong, you could accidentally kill the person when you want to capture them. So, you would warn them about the spell and give them time to strengthen their shield. If you were trying to kill them, you would stay silent to have the element of surprise. Red lines appeared around the rock making a design and fire shaped like arrows appeared all around the rock. A second later they all shot forward slicing the rock until most of it crumbled into rubble. He gave a satisfied smile and relaxed out of his stance.
There was an applaud from the stands as students cheered the show or sat silent amazed of the spell. Cornelius gave a smile and turned to Faye with a grin on his face. “It would be an honor if you did a spell for us, Master mage.” He said with a bow and Faye’s face flushed. She hated being called that “Just call me Faye. How strong do you want the spell?” she asked curiously and he looked up surprised. “Well as strong as you can get it.” He said with a smile and Faye frowned. “I fear if I did the Arena’s shield would shatter. It’s not as strong as it used to be. However, I’ll give it a spell with enough power that it would not endanger anyone. You should go to the end of field because I don’t know if this will be too strong for your shield. No offense.” She said with a small smile and then nodded walking away.
Once they were at a safe distance she moved twenty feet away from the remaining rock and took her stance. She took a deep breath bringing up a certain amount of magic and created a shield around herself. “People of the flames…Dance!” she shouted and her blue lines moved to the rock. There was a giant explosion that shook the Arena and thousand of rock pebbles flew out all on fire. It took a few seconds for the smoke to clear and all that was left was a giant hole in the ground.
She sighed as she realized her skills were rusty from lack of use. She had put a little to much power into it and now they had to fix the ground. She walked to the others and Cornelius had his mouth open. She turned away her face red with embarrassment “Sorry about the ground. I’m a little bit rusty and I over did it a little bit.” She said and Ryan laughed making her turn even redder. Cornelius finally closed his mouth “It’s fine, my dear. It happens all the time and it gives us something to do.” He said even though it had only happened once before but it seemed to make Faye happy.
“Now I think my students will be talking about that for awhile.” He said as they headed towards the stands. The students rushed on them and immediately started asking Ryan and Faye about the spells they did. “How long did it take you to learn that? Are you a Master? You look no older then my sister, how did you learn that spell in such sort time.” Were the types of questions they received and they tried to answer all of them. Cornelius had to tear them apart from the two and reluctantly they started heading back to their classroom loudly. Cornelius gave an apologetic look and waved good-bye as he pushed the last students through the door.
Faye and Ryan looked at each other for a second and then burst out laughing. “That was quite interesting.” Faye said as she wiped a tear from her eye and Ryan nodded in agreement. They walked out of the hall and once again made their way to the men who had sent Ryan. After a few turns and flights of stairs, Ryan stopped at a giant oak door with designs in carved in it. He took a deep breath and gave Faye a weak smile. He opened the door and they walked into a large room.
Inside were desks spread apart but made an upside down ‘U’ with mages sitting in them. The walls were hidden behind large bookshelves that went to the ceiling and the carpet was a crimson color. It was more of a library then a meeting place for mages. A man stood up who appeared to be in his late twenties and gave a bow. The others followed after him and the first man walked towards them. “Corder I am glad you made it back so soon. I must admit I thought it was going to take you longer.” He said to Ryan who gave a bow and the man turned to Faye “I am Eli Markson the Master mage at this Guild.” She nodded her head and gave a bow “A pleasure. I am Faye and if you don’t mind me asking why did you call me here?” she said getting straight down to business. Markson raised his eyebrow “I thought it was obvious. To help us with the war against the Demons. We are low on healers and with your skills it would surely help us.” Markson explained to her. Faye was quiet for a few minutes and Ryan knew that this was impossible for her. “I’m sorry but I can’t. However I will be helping in my own way.” She said after a while and Markson frowned. “Is there nothing we can do to change your mind?” he asked her and she shook her head.
“I see. Well I cannot force you to help us. Please rest here for the night and you are free to wander through out the building.” He said and she nodded her head. “Ryan show her were room is. I hope that you enjoy your night and good luck with your trip.” He added to them and Ryan took her arm leading her out of the room. Once they were out she turned to Ryan “I apologize that you had to leave and then find out your trip was a waste.” She said with a frown on her face and Ryan shook his head “It was an honor and I enjoyed it. It was new and I got to explore some interesting areas.” He said with a smile.
Ryan took her down a few flights of stairs and they soon came to a hallway of doors with small designs on them. He took out a silver key and unlocked the door to one of the rooms. He gave the key to her “Dinner will be in an hour, I’ll come get you when it’s time. There are some new clothes that are on the bed in the room and I guess I’ll see you later.” He said and then turned away walking down the hall.
Faye stepped into her room, which had a desk along with a giant bed at one end. In a smaller room with marble flooring was a bath and a mirror. She explored the room and indeed found new clothing. She opened a clear door and walked out onto a balcony over looking the whole town. She watched as the sun started to set and then she watched as the streets started to empty. After a while she finally went back into her room and closed the doors to the balcony.
She started the bath and relaxed in it for about twenty minutes. She finally got out with much regret and started to change into a fresh pair of clothing. She was about to put on a white long sleeve tunic when she noticed the purple markings on her arm. They had spread to her shoulder and it was making it’s way to her back. She bit her lip and was surprised when she tasted blood on her tongue. She got close to the mirror and gave a small gasp of surprise when she saw small fangs forming on her canine teeth. She put on her white tunic with a bit of a shudder and pulled up her boots.

Ryan knocked on the door to Faye’s room his silk blue tunic tickling his skin and his white pants moving slightly as he leaned to one side. Faye opened the door with a quick smile and stepped out. She was wearing a white long sleeve tunic with a gold embroidery on the neck and the cuffs of her sleeve. Her pants were also white and the bottom was hidden under black knee-high boots. It was a custom for Master mages to wear white to show their rank and to give a warning for those wishing to cause a fight near them. Ryan looked at her hands as they walked down the hall, on them were black fingerless gloves with some metal on the top, Ryan looked away so he wouldn’t seem rude and didn’t question about them. It was obvious she was hiding the markings but even then, by her fingers you could see them when the glove moved.
He took her down onto the first level and brought her to the Grand Hall. The students often joked about the name calling it the Hall of Food and they complained how they felt the name was too formal. It was where everyone ate regardless of their rank and was often crowded by students doing homework or just playing games with their friends. It wasn’t to full at them moment and Cornelius waved them over.

THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF THE POST ABOVE SINCE IT WAS EXTREMELY LONG!!!! (Just so you know)
They went over to the professor and sat on the bench across from him. Students sat around them, many from the class Faye saw earlier, and began asking questions. Cornelius waved them off and they sadly moved away. “I hope you have enjoyed yourself here. If you don’t mind me asking but how long will you be with us?” Cornelius asked Faye as he cut his food into pieces. “I’m sorry but I will have to leave tomorrow. I have other things to do and I don’t have a lot of time. However, I promise I’ll return here to answer all your questions and you can answer some of mine.” She said with a smile and Ryan noted silently the shape of her teeth. They are different he thought to himself but he turned his mind away from it and back to the conversation at hand. Cornelius frowned but then smiled “Well before you leave you must try the Guild’s most famous drink! It was created by one of our mages a while ago and it is quite delicious if I do say so myself.” He said handing her a cup of what appeared to be red wine. She looked at it warily and hesitated before taking it.
A mage ran into the room his face red from running “Warriors…All warriors must go outside immediately. Demons are attacking the town and we need every mage. Healers must go to camps to help the injure.” The man said out of breath. Faye stood up and ran out of the Hall to the outside. She ran to the gate, Ryan and other mages trailing behind her, and indeed there were all types of Demons in the street. Faye cursed silently she wouldn’t be able to do any real spells without damaging the town. There was a flash at her hand and a white sword appeared. She raised it up and ran into the street attacking the nearest Demon. She did her spells quietly and fast as the other mages joined her. She slashed a Demons throat and green blood showered over her.
She blocked an attack from another and glanced around quickly over the battlefield. They were out numbered and they seemed to have lost some mages. Where is the leader? She thought slicing through the Demon’s throat and she ran to an ally. No one was there and she floated to the roof of the building. She saw buildings on fire and there were flashes of spells flying through each street. She looked around and found a man sitting on the edge of a building. His hair was a flaming red color and his eyes were green. He was dressed all in red except for the black breastplate he was wearing and the black sheath at his side. He laughed as a man was cut in half by a Demon and she was able to see fangs in his mouth. He saw her and stood up his features seeming to glow with the full moon behind him.
She got into a defense position as he quickly covered the distance between them a smirk on his face. “Here I thought I would have to search through the whole town to find you but no here you are coming to me.” He tilted his head to the side “Wow, your actually pretty cute. I was thinking you would be some old hag with grey hair and an old fat cat.” He said slightly laughing. She hid her fury and stared coldly at him her sword raised. He raised his hands up “It was a joke relax.” He put his hands down and gave a mocking bow “The name is Hayden Macroy at your service. I guess you can consider me Abhor’s right hand man and his most trusted advisor believe it or not.” Hayden added and gave a small shrug “Now my king told me to tell you that if you don’t come quietly that we will burn the city to the ground and slaughter everyone.” He said in a reciting voice and then he put on a pouting face. “Come on, pleeeaassee. I like you and being a Demon isn’t all that bad. I mean yes there are the cravings for blood but heck no creature is perfect.” He added taking a step forward and she took a step back. “No. I will not turn on my friends and I will not allow you to burn this city down!” she said her teeth clenching with anger and she tightened her grip on the hilt of the blade. He bent forward looking at her and straightened back up with a satisfying smile. “Ha! You even have fangs now! I bet soon you’ll start to know what it feels like to be a Demon.” He said and his fingers wrapped around the hilt of his sword and his finger nails sharp like a claw “Now come on enough waiting around.”
Faye ran forward and Hayden parried. He brought down his sword on her and she blocked. There were sparks as the blades met and Faye jumped back. Lines moved around him and he jumped just as the space below him exploded. The moon went up behind him darkening his features and Faye moved just in time as a dagger flew at her. It landed behind her and she felt pain in her cheek. She touched her cheek and realized the dagger had grazed her. Hayden touched back to the ground gracefully and shook his finger in a disapproving manner. “Cheater no magic. But then again you are basically a Demon…So I guess it makes sense that you cheat!” he said satisfied with his solution and he grinned.
There was a shriek and Faye looked up to see Demons leaving the city. It was the same with the Demons on the ground and it appeared that the Guild mages were able to hold off the Demon attack. A hand went around her neck and another around her mouth. “It seems we spent to much time talking. Well it has been fun but I’m being called away.” Hayden whispered into her ear his breath hot as he showed his sadistic side. His hand on her mouth moved to the cut on her face and he wiped the blood off with his finger. He licked his finger as he stepped back and before disappearing, he said one last thing “Yum. Can’t wait to see you again my Demon friend.”
Faye dropped back down to the street and walked to the Guild. At the guild, there were fires being set to burn the bodies but she walked past them and into the building. She went into the Hall where all of the mages were sitting healing themselves or talking to others. The students huddled in their own groups talking excitedly about the battle and how they wished they were in it. She saw Ryan who had a gash on his shoulder, which Cornelius was helping to heal. She sat down next to them and looked at the cut. Ryan moved to see if she was ok but flinched at the cut. Cornelius was sweating and she put her hand on his shoulder. He looked up and gave a tired smile. “I’ll do it. Your tired and I still have a lot in me.” She said and he got up from the bench so she would have a full view. She took his place and sent her magic out to Ryan.
The cut was deep but Cornelius had managed to kill the germs in it. She relaxed and started to heal his shoulder. Once she was done, she checked his whole body healing cuts and helping bruises disappear. She gave him some of her magic so he wouldn’t be as drained as before and opened her eyes. He was looking at her eyes wide and she tilted her head confused on what was so surprising. “That was quick…and I feel great.” He said and he looked at his shoulder. There was no gash but pink new healthy skin. Cornelius whistled, “You really are one of the best healers.” He said after a while and sat down on the bench next to them.
“When we ran out after you we got caught in the battle and lost you,” Cornelius said as he began their story, “ We ended up moving to one of the streets where some Demons were trying to sneak around us to the Guild. Ryan, myself, and one other held them off. After about ten minutes of non stop battle the Demons just started running off.” Ryan nodded his head and then continued the story “After that we just came back here hoping that you did too. It appears we were right.” He said with a grin and Cornelius laughed, “Now what happened to you?” Cornelius asked worried. “I had an encounter with Hayden one of Abhor’s generals I believe. We had a small chat and then we fought. When the Demons ran off he told me that he was being called away and then he left.” She replied not adding what he exactly said in there ‘chat’. “Interesting. Why is Abhor so interested in you? You aren’t even going to participate in this war or so I was told.” Cornelius said with a raised eyebrow of curiosity and Ryan gave a small smile. “Now Cornelius enough questions. Look at her and at your self. We are all filthy and who knows what time it is.” Ryan said patting his friend on the shoulder. “Forgive me for being so rude. I’m afraid I get to curious and seem to forget my manners. Good night my friends.” He said as they got up.

Hayden walked down the halls of the Demon castle hits boots scraping against the red carpet. He had to report to Abhor and was now making his way to the throne room. A Demon by a black metal door nodded his head and opened the door. An old musty air filled the air and he gave a look of disgust. The smell was horrible but he soon hid his emotions behind a court mask. The room was huge with a red carpet with black roses designed on it. On the sides of the room were suites of armor that held only spiders and cobwebs. At the end of the room was a throne of silver and black metal. On it was Abhor wearing his usual outfit and on his head was a crown. It was made of dark green thorns entwined around black metal and it signified the King of the Demons.
Abhor smiled at his friend and Hayden knelt on the carpet bowing his head. “Raise your head, Hayden. You are my most trusted friend there is know need for such formalities.” He said his voice that was as always cold yet kind at the same time. “I met her at the battle near the Guild. She has fangs and the markings have reached her back. We had a chat and it seems she is against joining us.” He said rising from the ground and Abhor put his chin on his hand with a thoughtful expression on his face. “Well there seems to be no point in having anyone come after her if she is coming here. However, she can be useful by helping me take out some suspicious Demons in our group.” Abhor said with a menacing grin and Hayden tilted his head. “Sire, you want to send Endymion correct?” he asked and Abhor nodded his head. It was quite obvious that Endymion wanted the throne and he was probably willing to do anything to get it. “What do you wish for me to do?” Hayden asked and Abhor got up from his throne. “I want you to talk to her. Follow her and try to persuade her. Don’t attack and if she attacks you just dodge. Do you understand?” Abhor asked his tone cold and dead serious. Hayden nodded his head, gave a bow, and walked out of the throne room to go to his new task.
Faye saddled up on Storm who neighed happily and gave Ryan a questioning look who was frowning. “God I wish I could go with you. I really would but the Master…” he trailed off and then a worried expression came over his face “Promise you’ll play it safe and not do anything reckless not that I think you would but still.” He babbled out and blushed. Faye smiled at him “ I promise.” She said and he handed her a map. It was a map of the land but it had circles and some handwriting on it in red. “Those are where Demon activity has been the highest or the latest sightings of Abhor or his men. In red is what people have been saying about the areas.” He said not looking at her his cheeks still red.
A messenger boy came running up to them out of breath “Sir, Master Markson wants you immediately.” He said with a bow to him, which he managed to do without falling. He saw Faye and his face brightened up. “Good morning, mam. Do you need any help or a escort out of town?” he asked and Ryan scowled. “Don’t you have to be somewhere?” he asked his voice stern and the boy gave him a disapproving look. “I don’t but you do. A guy doesn’t see a beautiful woman everyday ya know. The girls here are either old or ugly.” He said and Ryan grabbed him by the arm. Faye put a hand over her mouth to hide her laughing as Ryan pulled the boy across the yard. “She has to be somewhere now let’s both have a talk with the Master…” she heard Ryan say and there was a groan soon after.
Faye made her way through the town and left through the East gate. The trail dirt and on her sides were trees of the forest that continued for miles and miles. She looked at her map and directed her horse to the closest circle. It was a town called Captura and it was about two days away. The town was only known for its' manufacturing in paper and wood pieces. It was located at the bottom of a cliff and most of the good wood they had to lower from the top by ropes. She continued reading on about some myths about the town like disappearing people who go in but don’t come out.
“Hi. How are you?” a familiar voice said and she jumped off her voice searching for the voice. “Relax all I want to do is talk.” Hayden said his feet swinging as he sat on a tree branch nearby and he gave a friendly smile. “What do you want with me? Don’t make me have to kill you.” She said a ball of lightening appearing in her hand and Hayden tilted his head confused. “Why do you hates Demons so much? You don’t even know me and yet you want to kill me.” He said and Faye froze. “I don’t. The only person I want is Abhor.” She said getting back on her horse and started back down the road satisfied that Hayden wouldn’t attack. Hayden jumped down off the branch and walked by her side about a yard away. “Go away.” Faye said her voice firm “I’ll come back tomorrow then.” Hayden replied disappearing into the forest before she could argue. Faye puzzled over why he was here and thought about what he had said.
Captura was a small town in the middle of the forest and rarely got any travelers. It was a town where everyone knew everyone and there was peace. They didn’t have anything that made it special and a lot of the people from the rest of the kingdom didn’t even know about it. Faye got off her horse when she entered the town and saw few out. It appeared that everyone was working or inside. The few that did see her greeted her nicely and even offered free food. She asked where the local restaurant was and they directed her to a large building towards the center of the town. She tied up her horse and walked into the restaurant.
It was crowded and she found a table in the corner. There were workers there and crowded around to introduce themselves. They all were wearing green or orange jump suites and most had orange helmets nearby them. A few had some tools like a hammer or pouch full of nails on their belt and she concluded them to be the men who cut the wood. Half the men were drunk and the woman laughed at the edge of the group. Faye soon found herself cornered in by men who kept on offering her drinks and they all seemed to want her to see the village leader. “So how is the life outside this small town? Still fighting the Demons? I hope you kill ever last one of them!” said a brown haired man and the others cheered with agreement “The same with the mages!” she thought she heard a man say but it was drowned out by a thundering boom in the distance.
The men got up immediately and raced out of the room. Faye found a girl nearby who seemed frightened “What’s wrong?” she asked and the girl looked at her “The machine must have dropped the logs! The men were trying to lower a lot today in one load to save time!” she said and raced out the room. Faye followed her through the town and came to a construction site near a large cliff. Logs were on the ground and men were trapped under them. Held by a single rope in the air was three logs tied together that threatened to fall. If they did the men underneath would be crushed and it would cause a lot of damage.
Men were rushing around and there was a gasp from the villagers. The rope finally broke and the logs started to fall at frightening speed down to the men below. Faye raised her hand instinctively and lines shot out to the logs. There was a green light and the logs slowed down. They then gently lowered down to the ground away from the workers. More lines appeared and the logs on the workers were lifted away. They dropped down to the ground and there was a sickening silence. Everyone was staring at her and some were glaring at her.
“You’re a mage, correct?” a man around forty in a green tunic long sleeve and brown breeches asked as he walked forward towards her. He had a brown top hat and his socks were white along with his gloves. “Yes, I am. Why?” she asked not liking the change in atmosphere and she heard whispers moving throughout the crowd around her. “I am the leader of this village and I hereby arrest you for the use of magic.” He said and to men came up behind her ropes in their hands “We shall not have any mages around here especially if they are Demons!” he said and she backed up away from the men coming towards her. She tried to make a shield around herself but she couldn’t reach her magic. The two men turned her around and one held her shoulder tightly while the other began to tie her wrist. “Why? I’m not a Demon.” She shouted struggling to get out of the two workers grip but he was too strong. The town leader walked forward and pushed down her lip with his thumb showing the small fangs. “You try to lie Demon when there is enough evidence against you.” Something hit the back of her head and her vision clouded over. The last thing she saw before she fell was a blue glowing stone held by a black string around the town leaders neck explaining everything.
It was dark and she was on the ground. She sat up and pain erupted through her head. She was about to try and heal it when she remembered the stone. It had magic in it and it was blocking her powers. She sat up and leaned against a nearby wall. She was in a jail cell underground and the only light was from a torch on the other side of the bars. A stone like the one the man was wearing hung near the torch giving off a blue glow. She looked at her prison and could only see a bed. She could make out an outline of another bunk bed on the other side but it was to dark to see any detail. “Your awake. That’s good.” An unfamiliar voice said and she could make out a figure in the darkness. “Come into the light and tell me who you are.” She said and the man laughed as he came into the light.
It wasn’t a man at all but a Demon. He was extremely pale and his eyes were red. He was wearing a tattered black tunic with dirty white pants and on his back was a dark red cape that was torn at the bottom. He was wearing pitch-black boots that had buckles shaped like the crescent moon and his black hair was ruffled. He had a dark red belt that had many pouches but all appeared to be empty and he had grey gauntlets with metal spikes on them. He grinned and she could see large fangs in his mouth. He had no beard nor mustache and he appeared to be around twenty years old.
“My name is Cavalier.”

He had a dark red belt that had many pouches but all appeared to be empty and he had grey gauntlets with metal spikes on them. He grinned and she could see large fangs in his mouth. He had no beard nor mustache and he appeared to be around twenty years old.
“My name is Cavalier. I’m a Demon in the group called Reconciliation. Do not fear me half Demon. ” He said his voice kind and calm as Faye relaxed slightly. Reconciliation was a group of Demons who wanted the Humans and Demons to make a peace treaty. “Don’t call me half Demon. My name is Faye and that’s all you need to know about me. Now where are we and why are the villagers doing this?” she asked and Cavalier sat down on one of the beds motioning for her to join him. She sat down next to him “We are underground in a basement of the town leader whose name is Vick Derk. These people hate mages and Demons a like. They think we poison the earth so when one of us comes along the capture us. They give us the choice of dying or staying in this cell. They caught me when I was passing by to get to a meeting and then put me in here. That stone is weakening me so I can’t break out. What’s your story?” he asked and she was quiet for a moment but decided to trust him “It started with Abhor…” she started and for the next hour told him her tale.
He whistled at the end “Here I thought my life was hard but you got it real bad. However, I know a way to get us out of here.” He said raising his finger in the air “I couldn’t do it with my self so I waited for another and here you are!” he said happily and she raised an eyebrow sarcastically. They way he was acting she could swear that he was crazy and even without her magic she could see that he had been starting to get delusional. “Believe me my friend this will work. Now there is the guard that comes around to give food to us and so far I have been nice to him. So now he has a bit of a soft spot for me and is very kind. All you have to do is act really sick when he comes by causing him to open the door to the jail cell to see if you are Ok, and then I whack him across the head.” He said and Faye had to admit that he wasn’t too insane. She sighed knowing that they didn’t have anything else and knew he didn’t have a plan to escape. I’ll take care of that part she thought to himself and prepared herself to be ready to fall to the ground sick.
The guard ended up being a boy around ten years old and he brought two trays of food. Faye fell to the ground and made her breath shallow. Cavalier ran to her side and knelt over her a worried expression on his face. He looked up at the boy “Help! Get in here I need help!” he shouted at the now frightened boy and the boy opened the bar doors rushing in. “What do we do?” he asked looked down at Faye worried and afraid. Cavalier raised the kid “Sorry.” And with that he punched the kid in the stomach knocking him out. Faye got up and Cavalier grinned. He took the keys from the kid “Now let’s get out of here.” He said walking to the door but Faye stopped him. “We can’t just walk out of here. There will probably be more guards and we don’t know where we are. Just hold on and I’ll get us out of here.”
She said and went to the blue stone on the wall. She hesitantly took and then threw it inside the jail cell. She let out a breath of relief as she felt her magic and began healing herself. Cavalier looked at his hands and hugged her making her loose here breath. “Thank you. You are brilliant!” and he released her. Faye waved her hand like it was know big deal clutched her stomach for a moment. It appeared that Cavalier got his strength back and was recovering. “What’s taking so long boy?” a voice asked right outside of the door and they both froze. A man with a spear walked looked at them and then at the boy in the jail cell.
Before he could do anything Faye grabbed Cavalier’s arm quickly saying a transportation spell. They were engulfed in darkness and Faye pulled Cavalier into a run. They ran towards a bright light and soon they ran outside of the restaurant. Cavalier looked around confused but Faye pulled them into the bushes. Men were running around obviously looking for the escapees and the two were silent in the bush. The men left and they got out brushing leaves from their clothing. “Let’s get my horse then get out of here.” Faye said looking at the stable where her horse would be and Cavalier nodded his head.
They slowly snuck around buildings avoiding everyone who ran by and made their way to the stable. Faye whistled a spell and the locks to the barn opened up. Storm perked his head up, neighing happily, as he saw her. He swished his tail back and forth as he started to walk towards them. A little girl ran by then stopped as she saw the horse out and went to the horse. Storm looked at the girl and then made his way around the building where Faye was. The girl saw them and then started shouting “Over here! There over here!” and with that Cavalier and Faye jumped onto the horse bolting.
They raced through the town and dodged people. She saw a man raising a bow with an arrow in its’ notch and made a shield just before the man fired. It hit the wall and bounced to the ground useless. Cavalier stayed low behind her and she looked ahead of them. There was a group of people forming a barrier in front of them and there were archers setting up. She wouldn’t be able to run by without killing some of them and she did not want to do that.
The men and woman watched as the horse with the two fugitives ran towards them and they readied their weapons. They waited for the horse to come to a stop and soon realized it wasn’t. It cam bolting at them and a yard away it disappeared like a ghost. They stood there for a few seconds and then suddenly the horse appeared behind them heading towards the forest. They fired their arrows but it only hit the mage’s shield.
Faye finally slowed Storm to a slow walk and Cavalier laughed behind her. She had used a teleportation spell and the look on the villagers as they reappeared was priceless. Faye joined in and started to laugh for a few minutes. She wiped a tear from her face and looked around them. They were deep in the forest and the trail was probably to the west of them according to Cavalier who had a small ability in directions. “Well the next circle is South of here in the Geri Desert.” Faye said looking at her map and handed it to Cavalier who was sitting on the horse behind her. He took the map and nodded his head in agreement.
They had finally found the trail after two days of aimless wandering and had made a routine for each day. Wake up early, eat on the road, have lunch on the road, find a spot for the night, and sleep after dinner. Faye looked up to the side of the road unsettled by the stillness of the woods around them. She saw a familiar face appear and groaned. Hayden walked out from behind a tree and fell in step with the horse. Cavalier looked up from the map and stared at the man. Hayden returned his gaze with a smile and a wave.
“I see you made a friend.” He said inspecting Cavalier and Cavalier did the same with him. “Will you two stop it. Hayden this is Cavalier and Cavalier this is Hayden. Now what do you want this time?” she asked and Hayden laughed earning a glare from Faye. “To chat of course. I like you and you’re a lot of fun. How did it feel to be treated like a Demon by a crowd of humans? Not that good. I always hate it. Discrimination exists everywhere in the world.” He said his head down and Faye couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt. She was rude to him first only because he was ordered to do something. “Sadly it does. Hopefully it won’t get worst but better for everyone.” She said after a while and the two Demons nodded their heads. Hayden pet Storms mare and walked in silence for a while. “A Demon is coming your way. He will be tough to beat but if you can stab his heart it will all be over and you’ll win.” He said with a small smile and disappeared into the forest. “That was interesting.” Cavalier said puzzled by the strange man and Faye nodded her head.

The sky darkened and the wind picked up around them an hour later. The trees moved violently and it started to rain soaking the two. Faye looked around and sensed magic in the weather. Cavalier felt it to and they both got off Storm. Faye’s boot sunk into the mud on the ground and she searched the area with her eyes. There was a lightening strike and it hit a foot away from Cavalier. “Come out whoever you are!” He shouted in anger and a figure emerged from the forest. It was a Demon and his face was hidden under a cloak hood. He was wearing all black and around his arms were thorn bracelets. Faye sensed great magic from him and knew he was a Master mage. He raised his hand and green lines shot out towards them. She created a shield all around them and thorns shot up from the ground. They tried to get in but the shield went below ground and they shrieked in anger. They exploded into flames and Faye lowered her arm. She walked out of the shield and created a small one for herself. “My name is Endymion I work for Abhor. Come with me now or I will kill your friend.” A dark raspy voice said from beneath the hood. “How about you walk away and keep your life unless you want to die.” She said coldly and Endymion laughed.
More lines appeared and trees formed beneath her. She made a disk and levitated above them out of the danger. The man made a shield just in time to block three lightening strikes and sent rocks at her. She crushed them before they got to her shield and returned with a barge of fireballs. He blocked them all with a wall of water and sent a wave at her. She raised a firewall evaporating the water but felt something hit her shield. A spear was in the wave and it had gotten through her firewall. It cracked her shield and cursed under her breath. She sent lightening at him again and looked up blocking it. A hole appeared where he stood and he fell in. She began to close the hole crushing him inside. He teleported out and sent a horizontal lightening strike at her. She moved and it struck a tree behind her cracking its’ base. It started to fall and she dived before it could hit her. Movement caught her eye and she saw Cavalier making his way behind Endymion. She made an illusion in the shield of him and got an idea. She stood up made an illusion of herself and the made herself invisible at the same time. Her illusion had enough power in it to trick a god and it moved towards Endymion sending small spells at him.
She moved to his side and pulled Cavalier behind a tree slapping a hand around his mouth so he wouldn’t talk. “Relax it’s me. I need you to get to the other side of him with my illusion and distract him.” She whispered thinking up her plan as she talked. She thought of Hayden and a small dagger appeared in her hand “Go now!” she whispered fiercely and Cavalier moved off. Within seconds he was next to the illusion mocking Endymion with faces. Endymion snarled and sent out a wave of water followed by lightening strikes. The illusion created a shield around them and it shattered after the attacks. Faye made her way behind Endymion and dropped her spell. She entered his shield without causing a disturbance in it and went behind him. He turned around and she lunged at him sending the dagger into his heart. Blood splattered on her clothing and she twisted the dagger. She saw his face, which was pale, and he had green eyes that were wide with surprise. “You…” he said and blood splattered out of his mouth and he collapse to the ground.
The weather cleared instantly and the dagger in her hand disappeared along with the illusion. She looked up and found Cavalier bringing storm towards them. “You all right.” He asked and she nodded her head silently. She only had a few cuts but those would heal soon enough. “I hate him! God I hate him so much. He keeps sending these men and I keep having to kill them.” She said clenching her fist in fury and guilt. She turned her head away from Cavalier and a few tears fell from her face. She wiped them away with her sleeve and got on Storm. “Let’s go.” She said her voice hard and Cavalier got on silently. Sometimes it was better to stay silent then to stay something stupid. They started off once more to the Geri Desert.
The Geri Desert was hot and there was Malacodature in the morning air. The weather was unpredictable and it would rain even if that morning there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. They had to cross-large hills of loose sand and most of the time there wasn’t even a trail to follow. They had seen many nomads and merchants on the road. Most of the towns had few shops and they were frequently getting water from wells. Faye had ripped off the sleeves of one of her white tunics to stay cool and Cavalier had done nothing but change clothing. He had purchased a new brown breeches and a black sleeveless tunic. However he kept his torn cape saying that it was lucky and reminded him of who he was. From a trader she bought a green burka along with green pants to match so she wouldn’t be mistaken for a Demon and to protect herself from sand storms. She also purchased black knee high boots that were strong since her boots were worn out. He seemed to be use to this type of weather and was tempted to ask if her was born here. She had passed her marks off as tattoo because they did look like flames in a way. So far they had cross her back and making its' way to her other shoulder along with her stomach. Some had begun to travel up her neck but it would not climb to her face. Faye smoothed out Storm’s mane and gave him water in the shadow of a building. “Faye!” she heard a voice cry out and two arms wrapped around her as Hayden gave her a huge hug. She raised an eyebrow at the Demon who never acted like she thought he should and for some reason she allowed the tolerance of him being around. “I was worried that Endymion would injure you or worst! Did you fend him off? Wait did you get the hint that I said before I left?” she slowly peeled Hayden off of her and gave him a smile which was a first for him. He gleamed “Yes I did. Thank you for it I really appreciated the warning but why did Abhor send him. Actually Abhor didn’t really send him. All he did was say that whoever brought you to him first would get promoted and Endymion has been trying to get the throne for ages.” He said and Cavalier tilted his head still puzzled by the other Demon. Hayden was silent for a second and then frowned. “Sorry I have to go. Tonight try to get as much sleep as you because it’s going to be a tough night for you.” He said and with that he disappeared around the corner. Faye sighed wishing he would stop leaving so soon so she could ask more questions.
They stopped under a dune hill for the night and Faye made a shield around them. The night was warm and that was a relief because at night it usually got extremely cold. Cavalier laid down a yard away and she closed her eyes t sleep. She woke up covered in sweat and her back was in great pain along with the rest of her body. She clutched her arms in pain trying not to cry out and clenched her teeth. She got up and moved away from Cavalier to the other side of the dune so he would not hear her. She finally cried out silently and punched the ground till her knuckles bled. She stopped finally and fell to the ground rolling into a ball. The pain was intense and it was like that for many hours. Finally just as the sun was beginning to rise did the pain stop and she fell into a deep sleep.
She woke up groggily and saw someone standing above her. For a second she thought is was Ryan like before but it turned out to be Cavalier. She got up on her elbows and felt strangely different. “Are you ok?” he asked cautiously and she sat crossed legged. “Actually I feel better then great…” she said and stood up. She felt extremely light and it felt like she was wearing a cape. Something tickled the back of her arm and she lifted her arm to see what. There were white feathers and she realized she could move the thing on her back. It hit her like a punch to the stomach and she looked at Cavalier dizzily. “Do I…I have…” she said and he smiled weakly. “You uh…you have white wings…” he said and Faye’s jaw dropped. She turned around frantically trying to see them and then stopped taking a deep breath to come herself. She felt them and moved them slowly making them twitch. Slowly the spread opening out and Cavalier gasped at them. They were white feathery wings like an angel and they were beautiful. “I really am turning into a Demon now aren’t I?” she asked her head turned away and Cavalier nodded his head dumbly then said “I think you are but you are a beautiful one.” he explained trying to make her feel better and she muttered a thank you.
Faye led her horse into the town nervously and many stared at her. She had to abandon the burka since her wings made it impossible to wear it and be comfortable. It was also impossible to hide them behind a cape and Cavalier felt that she shouldn’t even bother.

Gomen, demo I think I should comment on story #2. Lemme tell you before I begin that this is just a bit of constructive criticism, and you shouldn't take it to heart. If you don't agree with what I'm saying, just politely say thank you or something, and just don't use my advice, which you should do for all criticism you get if you want to be successful. Kay? Okay. Starting now:
The plot is extremely generic, and I've seen many stories with that same exact plot, the protagonist-gets-transported-to-another-world thing. Besides that point, it's a bit poorly written. I see close to no commas, especially in places where they're needed, and other things also.
For example, dialogue is to be written in a new paragraph, unless it's the same speaker as the last. Also, for example, you put:
“Yes I did. Thank you for it I really appreciated the warning but why did Abhor send him. Actually Abhor didn’t really send him. All he did was say that whoever brought you to him first would get promoted and Endymion has been trying to get the throne for ages.” He said
You should put some punctuation in there. Also, for the last part:
All he did was say that whoever brought you to him first would get promoted and Endymion has been trying to get the throne for ages.” He said
You should put a comma instead of a period after "ages" so it would be:
All he did was say that whoever brought you to him first would get promoted and Endymion has been trying to get the throne for ages,” He said
See what I'm getting at? Also, a beta reader could fix a lot of this, so I suggest you get one. Also, some of the content of the story is exactly alike to what I've read in 12k, so I suggest you don't use anything from books and everything, unless you're writing a fanfiction with the same characters, which you cannot publish for money or anything other than the entertainment of readers.
Also, another thing, back to the plot. It's a bit hard to follow, and a tad random at times. Nothing really wrong with being unpredictable, but still.. It might be more enjoyable to read or write if it's follows a plot line and not just making things up as you go, which it sounds a bit like you're doing.
Just reminding you again, please don't get mad at me for writing this. It's just constructive criticism, and you have to get used to getting it. ^__^;;
