ONE
Dead silence followed the cries of a young wolf. Greatful for the welcomed silence, a femmora sighed and smiled, somewhat sadly. The loss of a wolf cub shook the pack of wolves, though they expected it because of the cold winter. A few minutes of silnce pursued, and the mother fell asleep along with the three remaining cubs.
Meanwhile, a shadowy figure moved through the darkness of the night, near the cave where the pups and their mother reside. Two blue, somewhat searching eyes shone in the twilight. The firey moon glowed as the mysterious shadow howled long and deep at it. Four howls answered the call, telling the wolf where his comrades were.
Subtle footsteps were heard by the dark wolf, also known as Bade. He turned around and saw his pack members approaching him.
Back in the cave, a young cub awoke from a dream. Her silky fur was as black as the twilight, and her eyes were a bright orange color, just like her mother's. She blinked and then yawned, still tired. The young pup went over to her mother, Luna, and nudged her a bit. The dark wolf responded by putting a large paw on the young femmora. Sighing, the cub went back to sleep.
Morning soon came, and the pack was back to the cave shortly after. Bade went up to his daughter, nudging her lovingly. He then repeated the gesture with his two sons.
"Well, Bade, I think it's time we name them," said the mother, Luna.
"I agree," replied Bade. The two wolves continued to think of names. By that night, all three pups were named.
Roy was the strongest of the litter, black as the twilight with blue eyes. Felix, the other brute, was a reddish-grey color, like his mother, but had blue eyes like his father. Lune, the final cub, was the only female. She was strong, yet had a feminine beauty just like her mother. She was black like her father on most places, except for the tip of her tail which was reddish-grey, along with the tips of her ears and her paws. Her orange eyes glowed with the same devious playfulness as her mother.
At night, the mother, father, and the three pups huddled up together, and fell asleep that way. Nothing disturbed that peaceful night, but the morning that followed was filled with sorrow.

Yesh, I finally posted the first chapter of the wolf story I started about a week ago. I decided to finish it tonight. Constructive criticism is very much appreciated.
