Sarah sighed as she saw the mountain of paper work on her desk as she entered her study room. She had been busy with a certain lobster festival in her name and it had took time to get it under control. She sat down in her velvet red chair and started on the mountain of paper work. Her study was the size of a royal bedroom and was cluttered with books. She had shelves of books on all wall, a window on the side of the room, and a desk near the back. In one of the corners of the room was a desk with maps and papers lying about on it. She was interested in the science of things but then again she had to make strategies for war. A few days ago she had been hovering over the maps of the Mushroom country with the Generals of the Mushroom Army. The Lobster Queen had been threatening the Southern border of her country so she had to find a way to increase the defense there without causing panic among the kingdom. She summoned a small light to see the papers better when she realized that it was quite dark out. She had nearly completed all the paper work of the day and had not realized that she had not had food for since the morning. She got up and stretched a bit before heading out of the room. She squinted as she entered the lightly brightened halls of the castle and made her way to the kitchens her feet moving swiftly across the red carpet. She opened two great oak doors and was greeted by warm air blowing out towards her. She walked into the kitchens of the castle and sat down on a stool by a blue mushroom with yellow spots and a grey beard. "Your Majesty, it is nice to see you down here again. I hope you didn't have to much trouble with the Lobsters at the festival." he said his voice soft and gentle. Sarah smiled at him and softly laughed on the inside. This was Jura an old friend who she greatly respected and whom was always honest to. When she had first met him she had tried to convince him not to call her a formal titles but he had never listened. After awhile she simply gave up on it and started frequently sneaking in to get some of his delicious food. He moved a bowl in front of her and gave her a spoon. He then continued washing dishes and preparing tomorrows food. She gave him a grin and then ate ravenously. She heard the midnight bells and got up. She gave him a quick hug and soon ran out of the kitchen so she wouldn't get caught out this late. She went to one of her chambers and changed clothing. She went into her bed and pondered over how busy the next day would be. That's right the Destroyer of Happiness is coming here tomorrow she thought on the edge of sleep.

" Rutalieh- oblitrion!...Kilench- LUMINAY!" A loud crash pierced through the air, shattering everything that created light throughout the immense palace. Lithe could hear people screaming- the ones who were new here, and were not yet accustomed to her power. She heard footsteps quickly approaching, talons scraping across the ebony hallway, leading to her training room. " Empress Enki!.......Empress?" She heard the kirin ask her for her, but was too busy concentrating. She sighed as she remembered how impatient he was, as silenced the fog around her, freezing it instantly. Lithe stood up, and brushed away the orange-tipped bangs from her eyes. She walked towards the kirin, who flinched as she said, " What is it, Relin?" The kirin gulped, then forced a smile onto his face. The Empress sighed again, and muttered something under her breath. Instantly, all of the things she had conjured in the room was gone, and the lights were back on. Relin nodded and gave Lithe a scroll. " You have a meeting with the Ruler of Mushrooms- your highness." Lithe Enki nodded. " Yes, I know, how could I forget?" she asked, her expression confused. The eagle- man looked up at her, and blinked. " It's in five minutes." He blinked once more. Lithe smiled and said, " We shall be going now, yes?" and she put on her black cloak, buttoning it on the front, but leaving the hood down. " We- your highness?" Relin said, adjusting his armor. " Yes, I want you to go and tell Len and Rukeh that they will be commanding the kingdom while we are gone, and that I want them to increase both airial and calvary forces along the south border of Etriok, because I have a...feeling...that the lobsters will be invading there shortly, and I would like to send them a little.....surprise." Relin dashed off in a hurry to tell both Len and Rukeh the news, and to gather his few needed belongings. Lithe grabbed what she needed, including her favorite piece of armor, her Fekrar, which consists of a wuge set of wings that spans across her back, and two smaller wings infront of the larger ones, which fold across her body to create an inperetable shield. The two larger wings- once everything was set up, were able to be copntrolled like they were natural, making Lithe Enki very much like her fellow kirin. Kirin looked like men and women, except they had two magnificent wings growing from their backs, along with the ability to fly, and turn into an eagle. Relin returned in a whirlwind of blue and orange feathers. Lithe ruffled Relin's blond hair teasingly, then grabbed his hand. " Off we go." she said, grinning. " No, you don't mean- I can arrange a carriage- the quickest in the kingdom!" Relin argued, quesy by the thought of traveling by dark magic, but they were already off, and his words were drowned out by a rush of black smoke. As soon as they arrived, Relin fell to the ground, dizzy and exausted. " If I didn't no any better- I'd think you didn't like flying through a void of dark magic." Lithe said, helping him up. Relin adjusted his blue tunic from under his armor, then glared at Lithe. " You know- since we're out of the castle, I can behave like your best friend again- your Majesty." he said, saying the last part sarcastically. Lithe handed Relin his sword, as he handed her her bramble-thorn molded gold crown. " Do I have to wear this?" Lithe said, impatiently. " You're meeting with the Ruler of Mushrooms- and it is expected of you to wear your crown." Relin replied, walking up to a pair of mushrooms. " Could you please direct us to where the Ruler of Mushrooms' meeting chamber is- we have a meeting." After recieving directions, Lithe stuck her tongue out at Relin. " What?" The kirin asked, pushing her slightly. Lithe rolled her eyes and continued walking. They approached a guard, and Lithe politely asked him, " Excuse me, but could you please inform the Ruler of Mushrooms that the Destroyer of Happiness and Light has arrived?" Once the mushroom had left, Relin sighed, " Why do you call yourself that instead of the Empress of Eagles?" Lithe looked intop the distance before replying- " Because that's what I was before I became Empress, and it's what I hold more pride towards. Anyone with a brain can be Empress, but being known as a top Dark Mage makesd me seem like so much more." Relin nodded, understanding.

Sarah popped her head out from inside a shelf dust on her from searching the cabinet. "Where is that darn map!" she said irritated and in a rush. She cleaned the dust off of her armor and gave a groan as she realized the map she was looking for was in another room. She gathered her maps and ran off to another map room. She called a guard and got him to help carry the maps. She went to the meeting room and was about to enter when she remembered her crown. Turning around quickly she ran into Krim her advisor. "I'm sorry it was my fault and..." he put her crown on her head. It was a silver with the mushroom symbol designed on the front with red and green rubies. Krim had always acted like her father and was old enough to be it too. He turned her and opened the door for her. She walked in and was the Empress of Eagles aka Lithe already inside. She smiled "I apologize for being late to my own meeting. I had some difficulty with finding a certain map..." she said glancing at the dust covered map in the guard's arm. She gave him an order and he set the map open on the table. She thanked him and he left the room returning to his post. Another came in with some tea for them and set it down on a small table near by. Before she knew it her main general was at her side and she smiled inward. Her main general was Morganna a human like herself wearing dark blue armor and a silver head band with the Mushroom symbol. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He is 23 and sometimes they are mistaken for as brother and sister. She loved to tease him but she knew that now was not the time for what she was about to reveal. Her face turned serious and she beckoned them to a map. It was the area which the Queen of Lobsters ruled but there were shaded spots where terrain symbols were suppose to be. "While going through the maps of the castle I came across this old one. Can you guess what the shaded parts are?" she asked them. Her general Morganna took a small intake of breath in surprise "They are tunnels under the Lobster's territory." he barely managed to say. "Yes. They are indeed tunnels. They are old but they are still there and are quite safe to go in. I have had some of my men go into one of them and it just so happens that it leads to the thick forest to the west of the Queen of Lobster's main castle. With this we can surprise her and possibly end this foolish war." the Ruler of Mushrooms said watching her general go through all the possibilities that they could do with these tunnels. She turned to Lithe "We could send some of our men to the East as a distraction so the Lobster Queen while we go through the tunnels and the forest. However there is a small problem. We cannot bring a lot of men in there and there will be creatures in the forest. That I know for sure. Will you join me in this and help me fight the Queen of Lobsters Destroyer of Happiness?" Sarah said to her friend and ally.

Lithe studied the map carefully and realized that Sarah's plan was brilliant, although risky. " Of course," she answered after a moment, thinking over the calculations in her head, " I will do all that I can to make sure that the Queen of Lobsters will pay for challenging our lands." she said, nodding. She knew what this battle truly was, it was entertainment for the Lobster Queen. She was bored one day, and being the horrible heartless ruler that she was, she sent thousands of her troops to destroy both Lithe and Sarah's kingdoms. Relin studied the expression on Lithe's face, and decided it was time to bring out what he had brought along with him. " While invading the Queen's land, one of our troops, a kirin like myself, came across a rather...amusing piece of information." He pulled out the leather book from his small bunch of papers, and handed it to Lithe, who almost laughed. " It's the Queen of Lobster's diary, and although entertaining, it also contains some very useful information." Lithe said, handing it to Sarah. Relin sipped some of his tea, then brought out some of his other belongings to see if any of them might be helpful. " So, how many are we talking about here, as far as soldiers." He realized that Lithe was staring at him, so he paused. " It might be good to know how many troops we are going to need, before the time comes.." Lithe nodded in agreement.

Sarah flipped through the pages reading some of the lettering and soon handed it to Morganna to see what he could make out. Sarah frowned "The cave will only fit 600 men including 200 wagons of small size to fit food and weapons. We won't need water because there is a stream that will follow along us the whole time on our side. I fear the we will be out numbered once we get there if we were to attack right away. However, the Lobster Queen has probably sent some troops to guard her borders..." Sarah said head down now thinking of the possibility of it. She looked back up and smiled at Lithe. "We can do a D-battle." she said still smiling and Morganna started to laughing by her side. "In our terms a D-battle is when one side weakens the other before the real fight. For example at night we could put food poisoning in their food not enough to kill them but just a few drops to make them sick for a few days." she added knowing that her kingdom had specific names for war skills. She was about to say something else when a page burst in. He bowed in a rush almost and at the same time almost falling over "Forgive my intrusion but the border town Mora has been captured by the Lobsters." he said to the Ruler of Mushrooms. Sarah was stunned for a few seconds and then scowled. "I apologize but I must leave for a while." she said to Lithe and then after a few words she disappeared traveling to the outskirts of Mora where her men would be. Morganna turned to the Empress of the Eagles "If you wish there are two guest room where you and your advisor may spend your time in. I fear the Ruler of Mushrooms is going to take back her town within the hours left in the day. If you wish you can also go to the outskirts of Mora and assist her." he said worried of what Sarah might do. The border town Mora was an important key to them in the war and the Ruler of Mushrooms would do anything to keep her people safe. Sarah walked into the hidden camp to the west of Mora and found the captain in charge. "Brief me on what happened here." she said to him and he gave a bow then began to explain. Some of the Lobsters had hidden in the town at night and opened the gate for the others. The town people had been taken hostage in the center of the town in the largest building. She nodded and looked at the town between to trees. A face of concern for those inside the town crossed her face for a few seconds but soon it disappeared. "We shall sneak into the town taking out guards from the east. This group will only consist of 20 of your skilled men. If things are to go off and we are discovered then you will attack with the rest of your men from the west. Understand, captain?" she said such authority that the captain had to take a step back. "Yes, mam." he said and ran off to gather his soldiers. She nodded with satisfaction and waited in deep thought of the battle before them.

(( Here is a side thing describing mushrooms: Mushrooms have the ability to change into a human like form. In this form they have a small cap on their head that is apart of them and what appears to be a mask over their mask. They are all armored and are usually in good shape. They can make weapons out of themselves which depends on what type of weapon by the Mushroom. They use this form for fighting and to intimidate others. There other form is a plain mushroom with two arms and legs attached. This is a more comfortable form for them and it is used to heal them. The colors depend on the mushroom and they help distinguish them from others. That is the brief mushroom description ))
